GET Emulator is a Plug & Play electronic solution developed for the integration of aftermarket racing exhaust systems on Euro 5+ motorcycles. The device is installed between the post-catalytic lambda sensor and the motorcycle’s original ECU, without using the diagnostic port.
On modern Euro 5+ motorcycles, electronic emissions control systems are becoming increasingly sophisticated. Replacing the original exhaust with a racing system can alter the signal detected by the post-catalytic lambda sensor and generate electronic faults, such as the engine warning light coming on or, depending on the strategies implemented by the manufacturer, the activation of limp mode.
GET Emulator was developed to address this specific need. The device is installed directly in the wiring between the lambda sensors and the OEM ECU, replaces the signal coming from the post-catalytic lambda sensor and provides the ECU with information compatible with the correct operation of the system. More specifically, it recreates the expected behaviour of the post-catalytic lambda sensor signal, or Lambda-2, helping to prevent faults related to modifications to the exhaust system.
Its architecture is one of the product’s key distinguishing features: Emulator operates independently of the on-board diagnostics and does not require a connection to the motorcycle’s OBDII diagnostic port. Its operation is therefore separate from the vehicle’s diagnostic system, in line with the “Standalone from On Board Diagnostic” concept already developed for the product.
Emulator does not perform tuning and does not modify the original ECU mapping. No calibration, software configuration or app connection is required: installation is Plug & Play thanks to the dedicated wiring adapter for each specific application.
The device can be used with racing exhaust systems from any manufacturer, provided it is installed on one of the supported motorcycle applications. This makes Emulator independent of the exhaust manufacturer and specifically designed to integrate with the electronics of modern Euro 5+ platforms.
