The V4 is specifically designed to raise the bar for MTB shock performance. The V4 not only retains and refines key aspects of the V3, such as its unique centre body characteristics, hydraulic end-stop circuit and high-speed control, but has also been improved by listening to feedback from our riders and customers. The V4 features position sensitive hydraulics, frequency dependent damping, an externally adjustable HBC and a DLC coated steel stem. All this and more in a stronger, quieter design.


Features:

  • PSR (Position Sensitive Rebound): a new position sensitive hydraulic rebound damping system that eliminates harsh impacts at the rebound end stop and improves sensitivity.
  • Riders can now adjust high and low speed compression using a common multi-tool with 5mm and 4mm Allen keys.
  • Frequency Response Damping: adjustable, more powerful HBC that intervenes in the last 20% of the stroke. This allows a lighter spring to be used for greater traction and control.
  • No risk of cavitation: high turbulence valves keep damping forces independent of viscosity and temperature variations for perfect pressure balance.
  • New surface treatments: improved durability thanks to a new proprietary DLC coating on the chrome molybdenum steel shaft and an innovative DHC coating process on the tube, both of which ensure maximum wear resistance.
  • EV2S oil: a high viscosity index fluid with excellent viscosity ratio
  • New spring bearings: ensure alignment, prevent spring wear and reduce spring noise
  • Large volume reservoir and bladder design, at only 55 psi pressure
