Description
The Piston Kit is compatible with the original cylinder and Athena cylinder. It is made through hot forging and is equipped with one or more piston rings. This combination ensures lower friction with the cylinder and consequently higher throughput, combined with increased strength and reliability. The kit, in addition to the piston itself, contains the pin, clips and piston rings kit. The elements mentioned above are replaceable and interchangeable in case of need. Athena offers a complete range of forged pistons for the main 2 and 4-stroke Off-Road models. They are produced thanks to a revolutionary computerized technology that ensures production dimensional tolerances of less than 0.01 mm. The balance between the materials used in production (silicon, copper, nickel and aluminium alloys) allows Athena pistons to achieve a level of reliability equal to the original and, at the same time, to guarantee greater resistance and excellent performance. All Athena products produced in larger displacements and powers than those provided by the road code of the user's country, are intended exclusively for competitive use.
