M0116 is a high quality of controlled-swell asbestos-free gasket material. It is composed with aramid fibers and inorganic fillers in a rubber matrix, resistant to medium/high temperature and pressures.
It has a good resistance to compression and low gas permeability, and it has an exceptional flexibility.
M0116 is a special quality material with controlled swelling in oil, to be used against oils for joints with low or uneven surface pressure: this property allows M0116 to be leakproof with low or uneven surface pressure.
Recommend use of M0116 for oil-pan, fuel injection pump, cover type, where pressures and temperatures are not very critical, or for side covers and pump covers gaskets.
