Athena, leader in motorcycle spare parts for over 40 years, offers a complete range of cast pistons for the main 2 and 4-stroke off-road motorcycle models. Produced with state-of-the-art numerical control machines (CNC), which ensure production dimensional tolerances of less than 0.01 mm, Athena pistons are made of a special high-performance aluminum alloy with high silicon content that guarantee the same reliability of the OE piston, while at the same time providing greater resistance and excellent performance. The perfectly smooth profiles thus ensure a regular flow and ideal propagation of the flame front.
Each piston, engineered in Italy by the Athena R&D department, is also subjected to severe bench and track tests to test its performance.
This piston for Athena cylinder is equipped with piston rings, which guarantee lower friction with the cylinder and therefore higher throughput.
The kit, in addition to the piston itself, contains the pin, clips and piston rings kit. The elements mentioned above are replaceable and interchangeable in case of need.
