To use the VHM head and insert correctly, it is very important to set the piston height. This allows you to check whether the squish and insert volume are correct and, if not, adjust the piston height so that they match.

This piston height measuring tool is a very ingenious tool for measuring piston height. It is suitable for engines with a displacement of 500 cc. It consists of an upper and a lower part. The lower part is used for calibration, while the upper part is used for actual measurement on the cylinder. The comparator is available separately.
